PEORIA (WEEK) — A new farmer’s market at Peoria’s Keller Station is on the hunt for vendors.
Organizers wanted to find a way to support local businesses trying to recover from the impact of the pandemic.
According to one of those organizers, Sam Hutchison, the market will feature hand made products, locally grown fruits and vegetables and fresh meats.
“We’re geared towards supporting local,” Hutchinson said. “Getting local businesses out there, and helping people come together and support local.”
The farmer’s market opens May 12 at 6035 N. Knoxville in Peoria.
Those interested in being a vendor at the market are asked to fill out a form on Keller Station’s website.
